The ACCUPRO 14883919 is a solid carbide ball end mill designed for precision milling of contoured surfaces, 3D profiles, and complex geometries in a miniature form factor. The 0.09-inch cutting diameter and 0.135-inch length of cut make it well suited for tight-tolerance finish work on small features. Four right-hand spiral flutes with a 30-degree helix angle promote efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. The AlTiN coating provides thermal resistance and extended tool life when cutting hardened steels, stainless alloys, and other demanding materials. Micrograin carbide substrate adds wear resistance and edge retention at high surface speeds.
This miniature ball end mill is used in precision machining environments including mold and die shops, medical device manufacturing, aerospace component work, and prototype machining. It is a single-end tool with a 1/8-inch shank diameter and 2.5-inch overall length, making it compatible with standard collet chucks and end mill holders on CNC machining centers and high-speed spindles. Right-hand cutting direction suits conventional CNC milling setups. The miniature series designation indicates suitability for micro-feature work where standard-diameter tools cannot reach.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use miniature ball end mill for CNC machining centers and high-speed spindles accepting a 1/8-inch shank collet or end mill holder.
Installation and tool changes should be performed by a qualified machinist with the spindle fully stopped and machine power isolated per shop safety procedures. Ensure the collet or tool holder is clean and free of debris before seating the shank. Verify runout with a dial indicator after clamping, as excessive runout accelerates wear on small-diameter carbide tools. Consult the machine tool manufacturer and applicable shop standards for recommended clamping torque on the collet nut.
