The ACCUPRO 14883917 is a miniature solid carbide ball end mill designed for precision milling in tight geometries and small-feature work. With a 0.01-inch cutting diameter and a 0.015-inch length of cut, this tool is built for micro-scale applications where dimensional accuracy is critical. The three-flute, right-hand spiral design at a 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. The micrograin carbide construction provides the rigidity and edge retention needed for high-precision work in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. A bright, uncoated finish is standard. This tool is installed and run by machinists and CNC tooling specialists working on precision components.
This ball end mill is suited for CNC milling operations requiring fine detail on small parts, mold cavities, engraving paths, and contoured surfaces. The extended reach configuration and 0.08-inch neck length allow access to recessed features that standard-reach tools cannot reach. The 1/8-inch shank diameter fits standard ER and collet-style toolholding systems common in vertical machining centers and high-speed spindles. This is a single-end tool intended for precision production and prototype work where tight tolerances are required.
Designed as an OEM-style miniature ball end mill compatible with standard 1/8-inch collet and ER toolholding systems on CNC vertical machining centers and high-speed milling spindles.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC tooling technician. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe, locked-out state before changing tooling. Seat the 1/8-inch shank fully into the collet or toolholder and torque the retention nut according to the toolholder manufacturer specifications. At this diameter, runout control is critical — inspect holder and collet condition before use to avoid premature tool failure.
