The ACCUPRO 14883551 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining applications. With a 0.025-inch cutting diameter and a 3-flute geometry, this end mill delivers fine detail cutting in tight-tolerance work. The 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. The bright, uncoated finish makes it well suited for non-ferrous metals, plastics, and other materials where coating adhesion or heat buildup is not a primary concern. Machined from micrograin carbide, the tool offers rigidity and wear resistance at this miniature diameter. It is a single-end tool and is centercutting, allowing plunge entry into workpiece material.
This end mill is intended for CNC machining centers, benchtop mills, and manual milling machines where small-diameter, high-precision cuts are required. Typical applications include micro-slot milling, engraving, fine contouring, and detail work on parts with tight geometric tolerances. The 0.025-inch diameter makes it appropriate for work in electronics, mold and die, medical components, and aerospace detail parts. Right-hand cut and right-hand flute direction are standard for conventional and climb milling setups. The 1/8-inch shank diameter is compatible with standard collets and end mill holders found on most light-duty and precision CNC platforms.
Designed as a standard single-end square end mill with a 1/8-inch shank diameter, compatible with ER collets, end mill holders, and tooling chucks sized for 1/8-inch shank tooling on CNC and manual milling equipment.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator. Secure the shank fully within the collet or end mill holder to the manufacturer-specified minimum insertion depth before tightening. At 0.025-inch diameter, the tool is highly susceptible to breakage from side load, vibration, or excessive feed rate — confirm feed and speed parameters before running. Inspect the cutting edges under magnification before each use; replace immediately if chipping or wear is detected.
