The ACCUPRO 14883527 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metal, alloy, and composite materials. It features a 0.04-inch cutting diameter and a 13/64-inch (0.200-inch) length of cut, making it well suited for fine detail work, slotting, and profiling in tight geometries. The three-flute configuration balances chip evacuation with cutting rigidity. A 30-degree right-hand spiral helix angle promotes smooth cutting action and reduces chatter. Machinists and tool-and-die professionals working with CNC mills or manual vertical mills will find this tool appropriate for high-precision applications requiring tight tolerances.
This end mill is used in applications that demand fine feature resolution, such as die cavities, mold work, micro-slotting, and detailed profile cutting. Its 0.125-inch shank diameter fits standard ER collets and end mill holders common to both benchtop and production CNC milling equipment. The single-end, centercutting design allows both plunge and contour cutting. The bright uncoated finish makes it suitable for use with cutting fluid on ferrous and non-ferrous materials where coating adhesion or heat buildup is not the primary concern.
Designed as a standard-fitment replacement or addition for CNC and manual milling setups that accept a 1/8-inch shank diameter end mill via ER collet, shrink-fit, or end mill holder tooling.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following standard tooling procedures. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before inserting or removing the end mill from the holder. Verify collet size matches the 0.125-inch shank diameter and that the tool is seated to the recommended minimum engagement depth per the holder manufacturer's guidelines. Do not exceed the tool's rated depth of cut or feed rates for the work material being machined.
