The ACCUPRO 14883502 is a single-end square end mill ground from solid micrograin carbide, designed for precision milling of ferrous and non-ferrous materials in machining centers and CNC mill setups. It carries a 0.025-inch cutting diameter with a 13/64-inch (0.203-inch) length of cut, making it well suited for fine-detail slotting, profiling, and contouring in tight geometries. The 30-degree right-hand spiral flute geometry promotes efficient chip evacuation, while the bright/uncoated finish keeps the cutting edge sharp on softer workpiece materials. Three flutes provide a balance between chip room and feed capacity at this diameter.
This end mill is intended for light-duty precision work in job shops, tool rooms, and production machining environments. Its 0.025-inch diameter makes it appropriate for micro-milling applications such as engraving, slotting thin features, and finishing intricate pockets in aluminum, brass, plastics, and mild steels. A 1/8-inch shank diameter allows it to seat in standard collets or end mill holders common to benchtop and full-size CNC mills. It is a single-end tool with no chipbreaker and no coolant-through provision, so air blast or flood coolant directed externally is the standard approach when cutting.
Designed as a standard single-end square end mill with a 1/8-inch shank diameter, compatible with ER collets, precision end mill holders, and other 1/8-inch bore toolholding systems used on CNC and manual milling machines. Part of the ACCUPRO ASQSC3-CC-30H series.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the control is in E-stop or lock-out condition before inserting or removing tooling. Seat the shank to the recommended insertion depth per the toolholder manufacturer specification, as insufficient engagement at this small diameter can cause tool pullout or breakage. At 0.025-inch diameter, run-out control is critical — verify collet condition and holder cleanliness before torquing to specification.
