The ACCUPRO 14883485 is a single-end square end mill ground from solid micrograin carbide and designed for precision milling in tight-tolerance applications. With a 1/32 inch (0.0312 inch) cutting diameter and a 3/8 inch length of cut, this tool is suited for fine detail work, slot milling, and profiling in small-scale features. The 30-degree right-hand spiral flute geometry promotes efficient chip evacuation, and the bright uncoated finish makes it well-suited for non-ferrous metals, plastics, and other materials where coating adhesion is not required. Machinists and tool-and-die professionals rely on this type of micrograin carbide end mill for consistent performance at small diameters.
This end mill is intended for use in CNC machining centers, manual mills, and high-speed spindle applications where small-diameter cutting tools are required. The 1/8 inch shank diameter allows it to seat in standard collets and tool holders commonly found in both benchtop and production milling setups. It is a right-hand cutting, right-hand flute tool with a 2.5 inch overall length, giving adequate reach while maintaining rigidity at this diameter. Typical applications include mold and die work, aerospace component machining, and precision part production where fine features must be held to close tolerances.
Designed as a direct-fit replacement or standard tooling selection for CNC and manual milling machines accepting a 1/8 inch shank collet. Compatible with ER collet systems and other standard tool-holding systems sized for 1/8 inch shanks.
Installation and tool changes should be performed by a qualified machinist with the spindle fully stopped and the machine in a locked-out state per standard lockout/tagout procedures. Ensure the collet and tool holder are clean and free of debris before seating the shank. At this small diameter, avoid excessive side loads or interrupted cuts that could cause tool deflection or breakage. Verify runout at the spindle before starting the cut to protect the tool and workpiece.
