The ACCUPRO 14883484 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in demanding shop environments. Built from micrograin carbide stock and coated with AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride), it handles high-temperature cutting applications where tool life and dimensional accuracy matter. The mill measures 0.0312 inches (1/32 inch) in diameter with a 5/32 inch length of cut and a 2.5 inch overall length. A 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation, and the three-flute geometry balances rigidity with chip clearance on small-diameter work. This tool is used by machinists and tool-and-die professionals running CNC mills or manual vertical mills on ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
This end mill is suited for slotting, profiling, and pocket milling operations where tight tolerances and a small tool diameter are required. The single-end configuration and right-hand cutting and flute direction make it a standard fit for conventional CNC setups. The 1/8 inch shank diameter is compatible with standard collet systems commonly found in vertical machining centers and CNC routers. It is well matched to finish passes on hardened steels, stainless alloys, and cast iron where the AlTiN coating provides thermal resistance and extended wear life.

Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following the machine tool manufacturer's guidelines for collet torque and tool runout. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in an e-stop or powered-down state before changing tooling. Confirm collet condition and bore cleanliness before seating the shank, as contamination or a worn collet will accelerate runout and reduce tool life on a 1/32 inch diameter tool. Do not exceed the manufacturer's recommended feed and speed parameters for the workpiece material.
