The ACCUPRO 14883474 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precise milling operations in metal, composites, and other hard materials. Built on a micrograin carbide substrate, this single-end tool features three right-hand spiral flutes with a 30-degree helix angle, a configuration that balances chip evacuation with cutting edge strength in small-diameter work. The 3/64-inch (0.0469-inch) cutting diameter and 3/8-inch length of cut make it well suited for fine detail passes, slot milling, and profiling in tight geometries. It is installed and operated by machinists and CNC programmers working with milling machines and machining centers.
This end mill is intended for applications where small cutting diameters and tight dimensional tolerances are required. The bright, uncoated finish and centercutting geometry allow for both plunge and peripheral milling. It is a fractional-inch series tool, making it a straightforward fit in shops running inch-based programs. The right-hand cutting direction is standard for conventional CNC milling spindles. Typical use cases include die and mold work, precision part profiling, and finishing passes in small slots or recessed features.
Designed as an OEM-style fractional-inch square end mill compatible with standard 1/8-inch collets and tool holders used on CNC machining centers and manual milling machines. Part of the ACCUPRO ASQSC3-CC-30H series.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following standard tooling procedures. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is locked out before changing tooling. Seat the 1/8-inch shank fully into a clean, undamaged collet or end mill holder and torque to the tool holder manufacturer's specification. Inspect the cutting edges under magnification before use, as small-diameter carbide tools are susceptible to chipping if mishandled during setup.
