The ACCUPRO 14883454 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining environments. With a 0.075-inch cutting diameter and a 3/8-inch length of cut, this single-end tool is built for tight-tolerance work in small-bore and detail-milling applications. The three-flute geometry balances chip evacuation and cutting surface contact, while the 30-degree helix angle promotes smooth cutting action and reduced chatter. An AlTiN coating provides thermal and oxidation resistance, extending tool life in ferrous and hard-alloy materials. Micrograin carbide substrate adds toughness and wear resistance at the cutting edge. This tool is suited for use by machinists and tool-and-die professionals on CNC machining centers and manual mills.
The 14883454 is applied in precision machining of steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and similar hard materials where a small-diameter end mill with high heat resistance is required. The single-end configuration and right-hand cutting direction make it a standard fit for conventional CNC milling setups. The 1/8-inch shank diameter accommodates standard collet chucks. It is commonly used in mold and die work, aerospace component machining, and general precision part production where tight tolerances and fine detail cuts are essential.
Designed for use with standard 1/8-inch collet chucks or tool holders on CNC machining centers and manual vertical mills. Part of the ACCUPRO ASQSC3-AT-CC-30H series of AlTiN-coated solid carbide square end mills.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following standard toolroom procedures. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before inserting or removing the end mill from the collet or tool holder. Verify collet size matches the 1/8-inch shank diameter and that the tool is seated to the correct gauge length before tightening. Inspect the cutting edges for chipping or wear before each use; solid carbide tools are brittle and should not be dropped or subjected to side impact.
