The tool is coated with AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride), which improves heat resistance and extends tool life in high-speed and dry cutting conditions. Micrograin carbide construction provides rigidity and wear resistance in demanding cuts. This is a single-end, centercutting tool suitable for slotting, profiling, and plunging operations.
