The ACCUPRO 14883441 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining applications. Built from micrograin carbide, it offers a 0.09 inch mill diameter with a 29/64 inch (0.45 inch) length of cut and a 1/8 inch shank diameter. The three-flute geometry with a 30-degree right-hand helix supports efficient chip evacuation and smooth surface finishes in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The bright/uncoated finish suits applications where coating-related thermal concerns or material sensitivity are a factor. This is a single-end, centercutting tool ready for plunge and peripheral milling. It is installed and operated by machinists and tool-and-die professionals using CNC machining centers or manual mills.
This end mill is suited for light-duty to medium-duty milling passes in materials including aluminum, brass, and mild steel. The 0.09 inch diameter makes it appropriate for fine-detail work, slot milling, and profiling in tight geometries where larger tooling cannot reach. With a 2.5 inch overall length and a 1/8 inch shank, it fits standard collet and end mill holder systems commonly found in CNC vertical machining centers and manual knee mills. The single-end configuration and right-hand cutting direction align with conventional climb and conventional milling setups.
Designed as an OEM-style tooling option for use with standard 1/8 inch collets and end mill holders on CNC machining centers and manual milling machines accepting right-hand single-end carbide end mills.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists. Confirm the collet or tool holder is clean and undamaged before seating the shank, and torque the retention system per the machine tool manufacturer specifications. Power down the spindle completely and engage the spindle lock before changing tooling. Do not exceed the recommended depth of cut for the 0.09 inch diameter to avoid tool deflection or breakage.
