The ACCUPRO 14883438 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metal cutting and machining applications. With a 3/32 inch (0.0938 inch) mill diameter and a 1.4 inch length of cut, this single-end tool delivers consistent performance in slots, pockets, and profile cuts. The micrograin carbide construction provides the hardness and wear resistance required for demanding cutting conditions. Three right-hand spiral flutes with a 30-degree helix angle promote efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. The bright, uncoated finish suits a range of general-purpose materials where coating is not required.
This end mill is suited for use in CNC machining centers, manual knee mills, and similar machine tool setups where a small-diameter, high-precision cutting tool is needed. The 1/8 inch shank diameter makes it compatible with standard collet systems used in precision machining. It is centercutting, allowing plunge milling as well as conventional side and slot milling. Machinists, tool and die makers, and precision fabricators working in job shops or production environments will find this tool appropriate for fine detail work and tight-tolerance features.
Designed for use with standard 1/8 inch collet systems on CNC and manual milling machines. Part of the ACCUPRO ASQSC3-CC-30H series of solid carbide square end mills.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist familiar with proper toolholding procedures. Ensure the machine spindle is fully powered down and at a complete stop before inserting or removing the end mill from the collet or chuck. Verify that the shank is seated to the correct insertion depth per the toolholder manufacturer specifications, and that the collet nut is torqued per the collet system guidelines. Inspect the cutting edges for chips or damage before each use, as micrograin carbide is hard but brittle and can be damaged by improper handling or excessive runout.
