The ACCUPRO 14881975 is a miniature solid carbide ball end mill designed for precision milling of contoured surfaces, slots, and complex 3D profiles. With a 0.0625 inch mill diameter and 3-flute spiral geometry, it delivers efficient chip evacuation and smooth finishes in demanding applications. The AlTiN coating improves heat resistance and tool life when cutting hardened steels, stainless alloys, and other abrasive materials. A 30-degree helix angle balances cutting aggressiveness with surface finish quality. This end mill is intended for CNC machining centers and milling machines operated by machinists and tooling professionals working in tight tolerances at small diameters.
This miniature ball end mill suits precision work in die and mold machining, medical component manufacturing, aerospace detail work, and any application requiring small-diameter contouring at extended reach. The 0.3120 inch neck length and 2.5 inch overall length allow access to recessed features and deep pockets where standard-length tools cannot reach. The right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction make it compatible with conventional CNC spindle configurations. It is a single-end tool sold individually.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use miniature end mill for CNC milling machines and machining centers accepting a 0.125 inch straight shank, with shank diameter tolerance of minus 0.0001 inch to minus 0.0003 inch for secure tool holding in standard collets and end mill holders.
Installation and tool changes must be performed by qualified machinists with the spindle fully stopped and the machine in a safe, de-energized state. Use a properly sized collet or end mill holder matched to the 0.125 inch shank diameter to ensure concentricity and minimize runout. Verify tool projection and stick-out against the programmed toolpath before cutting to avoid tool deflection or breakage at this small diameter. Follow the machine manufacturer and tooling supplier recommended speeds and feeds for the workpiece material and coating type.
