The ACCUPRO 14881933 is a solid carbide ball end mill designed for precision milling in tight geometries and small-feature work. With a 5/64 inch (0.0781 inch decimal) mill diameter and a 3-flute spiral configuration, this tool delivers a balance of chip clearance and surface finish in demanding cutting operations. The 30-degree helix angle promotes smooth cutting action and efficient chip evacuation. An AlTiN coating adds heat resistance and extends tool life in abrasive or dry cutting conditions. Micrograin carbide construction provides the rigidity and edge retention needed for accurate, repeatable results. This tool is installed by machining professionals and CNC toolroom technicians.
This miniature ball end mill is suited for CNC machining centers, vertical mills, and high-speed machining applications where small-diameter profiling, slotting, or contouring is required. The extended reach design, with a 5/8 inch neck length, allows access to recessed features and deep pockets without sacrificing rigidity. Right-hand cut and right-hand flute direction make this compatible with standard spindle setups. Typical applications include die and mold work, aerospace components, and precision part finishing where tight tolerances and fine surface quality are required.
Designed as an OEM-style miniature ball end mill for use in standard 1/8 inch shank collets on CNC machining centers and vertical mills requiring small-diameter ball-nose tooling.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC toolroom technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and powered down before changing or inspecting tooling. Secure the 1/8 inch shank firmly in a properly sized collet or tool holder to the equipment manufacturer's specified clamping procedure. Inspect the cutting edges for chips or wear before each use, as small-diameter carbide tools are susceptible to breakage if run at incorrect feeds or speeds.
