The ACCUPRO 14881893 is a miniature solid carbide ball end mill designed for precision milling in tight geometries and small-feature machining applications. With a 0.0312 inch (1/32 inch) mill diameter and a 0.046 inch length of cut, this tool is built for detailed work where accuracy and tool integrity are critical. The micrograin carbide construction provides the rigidity and edge retention needed at this diameter. Three right-hand spiral flutes with a 30-degree helix angle promote efficient chip evacuation. The bright uncoated finish suits ferrous and non-ferrous materials without the risk of coating adhesion issues at micro-scale. Machinists and CNC operators working on molds, dies, medical components, and fine detail work rely on tools in this class.
This end mill is suited for high-precision CNC milling operations requiring very small diameter tooling. The extended reach design, with a 5/8 inch neck length and 2.5 inch overall length (OAL), allows access into recessed pockets and contoured surfaces without interference. The 1/8 inch shank diameter is compatible with standard collet systems used in CNC machining centers and high-speed spindles. It is a single-end tool in the Miniature series, appropriate for prototype, production, and toolroom environments where tight tolerances are non-negotiable.
Designed for use with standard 1/8 inch collet systems on CNC machining centers and high-speed spindles. Part of the ACCUPRO Miniature series of small-diameter solid carbide end mills.
Installation should be performed by a qualified CNC machinist or toolroom technician. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe, locked-out state before changing tooling. Seat the 1/8 inch shank fully and evenly in the collet to the recommended gauge depth for your toolholder to minimize runout. At this diameter, even minor runout or excessive feed rates can result in tool breakage.
