The ACCUPRO 14797537 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling of hardened and abrasion-resistant materials. It features a 0.09 inch cutting diameter with a 0.015 inch corner radius and a 0.4375 inch length of cut. The AlTiN coating provides thermal resistance and extended tool life at elevated cutting speeds. With two right-hand spiral flutes and a 30-degree helix angle, this end mill delivers efficient chip evacuation and smooth surface finishes. Machining professionals and tool-and-die shops use this style of end mill for finishing and semi-finishing passes where edge integrity and dimensional control are critical.
This end mill is sized for miniature-series applications where tight geometries and small part features demand reduced-diameter tooling. The 1/8 inch shank diameter makes it compatible with standard collet and tool-holder systems used on CNC machining centers, CNC mills, and high-speed spindles. It is suited for mold cavities, fine detail work, and contour milling in materials such as hardened steel, stainless, and cast iron where the AlTiN coating provides oxidation resistance. Single-end, centercutting geometry allows plunge entry as well as peripheral and slot milling operations.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use miniature corner radius end mill for CNC machining centers and manual mills equipped with 1/8 inch collet or tool-holder systems.
Installation and tool changes must be performed by a qualified machinist with the spindle fully stopped and the machine in a safe, locked-out state. Ensure the collet and tool holder are clean and free of chips before seating the shank to maintain runout tolerance. Verify that programmed feeds, speeds, and depth-of-cut values are appropriate for the workpiece material and this tool diameter before starting a cut. Follow the machine tool manufacturer guidelines and applicable shop safety procedures when handling carbide tooling.
