The ACCUPRO 14797437 is a miniature solid carbide ball end mill designed for high-precision milling of small features, contoured surfaces, and tight-radius profiles. With a 0.06 inch cutting diameter and a 2-flute right-hand spiral geometry, it delivers clean material removal in confined workspaces. The micrograin carbide construction provides the hardness and edge retention needed for consistent performance in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. At 1.5 inches overall length with a 0.125 inch shank diameter, this tool fits standard miniature collet setups on CNC machining centers and manual mills. Installed by machinists and toolroom professionals working on precision components, molds, and die work.
This end mill is suited for small-part machining applications in tool and die, mold making, medical device manufacturing, and aerospace component work where tight tolerances and fine surface finishes are required. The extended reach design and 0.5 inch neck length allow access to recessed features and deep pockets without interference. The 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and reduces cutting forces on small-diameter tools. The uncoated finish makes it well-suited for use with cutting fluids on a broad range of base materials.
Designed as an OEM-style miniature ball end mill for use in standard 0.125 inch collet systems on CNC machining centers, manual knee mills, and high-speed spindle setups requiring small-diameter tooling.
Installation and tool changes should be performed by a qualified machinist with the spindle fully stopped and the machine in a locked-out state. Secure the 0.125 inch shank in a properly sized collet or toolholder and torque to the toolholder manufacturer specification. Inspect the cutting edges and shank for runout before beginning a cut. At this diameter, tool deflection and runout are critical factors — verify setup carefully before engaging the workpiece.
