The ACCUPRO 14797435 is a miniature solid carbide ball end mill designed for precision milling in tight-tolerance applications. With a 3/64 inch (0.0469 inch) mill diameter and a 0.1410 inch length of cut, this two-flute tool is built for small-feature work in hardened steels, stainless steel, titanium, and other difficult-to-machine materials. The AlTiN coating provides thermal resistance and wear protection at elevated cutting temperatures. A 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation while maintaining edge strength. Micrograin carbide construction delivers rigidity and edge retention in high-speed finishing and semi-finishing passes.
This end mill is suited for mold and die work, medical component machining, aerospace detail parts, and any application requiring a small-radius ball profile. The single-end configuration and 1/8 inch shank make it compatible with standard miniature collet chucks and high-speed spindles on CNC machining centers and milling machines. Right-hand cut and right-hand spiral flute direction are standard for conventional CNC setups.

Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and locked out before changing tooling. Seat the shank to the recommended insertion depth in the collet to minimize runout and prevent pullout during cutting. Verify tool runout with a dial indicator before beginning a production run, especially given the tight mill diameter tolerances of +0.0000 to -0.0010 inch on this tool.
