The ACCUPRO 14797347 is a single-end, square-profile solid carbide end mill designed for precision milling in metalworking and machining applications. Built from micrograin carbide, it delivers a mill diameter of 0.0469 inches (3/64 inches) with a 9/64-inch length of cut and a 1/2-inch overall length of 1.5 inches. The 30-degree right-hand helix and four right-hand flutes provide efficient chip evacuation and a clean finish on ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The bright, uncoated finish suits general-purpose cutting where coating is not required. Machinists and toolroom professionals install this tool in CNC machining centers and manual knee mills for slotting, profiling, and light contouring work.
This end mill is suited for small-feature milling operations where tight dimensional tolerances are critical. The 1/8-inch shank diameter fits standard collets and end-mill holders commonly found in benchtop CNC routers, micro-machining centers, and precision die and mold work. Centercutting capability allows the tool to plunge directly into workpiece material, expanding its use in pocket milling and blind-slot operations. It is appropriate for use in production shops, tool and die environments, and precision job shops handling small-scale components.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-fit tooling option for standard 1/8-inch collet and end-mill holder systems used in CNC machining centers and precision milling setups.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or CNC toolroom technicians. The machine spindle must be powered down and the tool changer or spindle locked before inserting or removing the end mill from its holder. Use a calibrated collet or precision end-mill holder rated for the 1/8-inch shank diameter to ensure runout is minimized. Verify tool projection and stick-out against the programmed depth of cut before initiating any cutting cycle.
