The ACCUPRO 14797340 is a single-end square end mill designed for precision milling in demanding machining environments. Built from micrograin solid carbide and finished with an AlTiN coating, it delivers reliable wear resistance and thermal stability at elevated cutting temperatures. The 1/32 inch (0.0312 inch) cutting diameter and 3/64 inch (0.0470 inch) length of cut make it well suited for fine-detail work, tight-tolerance slots, and small-feature profiling. Four flutes with a 30-degree right-hand spiral helix provide efficient chip evacuation and a smooth cutting action. This tool is center-cutting and runs in a right-hand cutting direction.
This end mill is used in CNC machining centers and manual mills where small-diameter, high-precision cuts are required. It is appropriate for milling ferrous and non-ferrous metals, hardened steels, and other materials that benefit from an AlTiN-coated carbide tool. The 1/8 inch shank diameter allows it to seat in standard collets and end mill holders commonly found in production and job-shop environments. It is a single-end tool, meaning it is replaced rather than reversed when the cutting end wears.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-fit tool for CNC and manual milling applications requiring a 1/32 inch diameter, 4-flute square end mill with a 1/8 inch shank. Part of the ACCUPRO ASQSC4-AT-CC-30H series.
Installation is performed by a machinist or CNC tooling technician. Power down the spindle and confirm the machine is in a safe, locked-out state before changing tooling. Insert the shank fully into the collet or end mill holder and tighten to the tool holder manufacturer's specified torque using the appropriate wrench. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning a cutting cycle, especially critical at this diameter where runout has an outsized effect on tool life and surface finish.
