The ACCUPRO 14797302 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metal, composites, and similar materials. With a 1/8 inch mill diameter and a 0.187 inch length of cut, this single-end tool is built for tight-tolerance work where rigidity and edge sharpness are critical. The micrograin carbide construction provides hardness and wear resistance well suited to high-speed cutting applications. A 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. The bright/uncoated finish makes this tool a versatile choice across a range of workpiece materials. Machinists and tool-and-die professionals working on CNC mills or manual knee mills are the primary users of this tool.
This end mill is suited to slotting, profiling, and peripheral milling in light-to-medium material removal applications. The extended reach configuration, with a 1.5 inch neck length and 1.25 inch reach length, allows access to recessed features and deep pockets that standard-reach tools cannot reach. The right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction make it compatible with conventional CNC machining center spindles. Center-cutting capability allows plunge entry directly into the workpiece without a pre-drilled pilot hole.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard-fitment cutting tool for CNC machining centers and manual mills accepting a 1/8 inch straight shank. Part of the ACCUPRO ASQSC3-CCER series.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following shop safety procedures. Power down and lock out the spindle before loading or removing the tool from the tool holder. Ensure the shank is fully seated and the collet or end mill holder is torqued to the tool holder manufacturer's specification. Verify runout with a dial indicator before initiating a cut, as micrograin carbide tools are sensitive to excessive runout.
