The ACCUPRO 14797281 is a single-end square end mill designed for precision milling operations in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Built from micrograin solid carbide, it delivers the rigidity and edge retention needed for tight-tolerance work at small diameters. The tool features a 3/32 inch (0.0938 inch) cutting diameter, three flutes, and a 30-degree right-hand helix that promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. With an overall length of 2.5 inches and a 1/8 inch shank diameter, this end mill fits standard collet chucks used in CNC machining centers and manual mills. The bright/uncoated finish keeps it versatile across a range of base materials without altering edge geometry from a coating process.
This end mill is suited for slotting, profiling, and light pocketing operations where a small-diameter tool is required. The extended reach configuration and 0.2790 inch reach length allow access to features that standard stub-length tools cannot reach. The centercutting geometry supports plunge entry without a pre-drilled pilot hole. Machinists working on die work, mold cavities, prototype components, and precision fixture parts will find this tool applicable to both roughing and finishing passes at appropriate feeds and speeds for carbide tooling.
Designed for use in standard 1/8 inch collet chucks or end mill holders on CNC machining centers, knee mills, and similar milling platforms that accept fractional-inch shank tooling. Part of the ACCUPRO ASQSC3-CCER series.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or toolroom technician. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe, de-energized state before changing tooling. Seat the 1/8 inch shank fully into the collet or holder to the recommended engagement depth before torquing the retention mechanism. Verify runout with a dial indicator after seating, as runout at this diameter will significantly affect tool life and surface finish.
