The ACCUPRO 14797245 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. With a 0.065-inch cutting diameter and three spiral flutes, this end mill delivers efficient chip evacuation and a smooth cutting action. The AlTiN finish provides thermal resistance and extended tool life in dry or semi-dry cutting environments. The 30-degree helix angle and micrograin carbide substrate make it well suited for tight-tolerance slotting, profiling, and contouring passes where rigidity and edge sharpness are critical. It is centercutting, allowing direct plunge entry without pre-drilling. Installed by CNC machinists and toolroom operators in metalworking and manufacturing environments.
This end mill is sized for small-feature work requiring a 0.065-inch cutting diameter. The 0.5-inch length of cut and 1.0-inch extended reach accommodate shallow to moderate depth passes in confined workspaces. The 1/8-inch shank fits standard collets and end mill holders commonly found on CNC machining centers, CNC routers, and manual mills. Right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction are standard configurations for conventional and climb milling setups. The 2.5-inch overall length provides clearance for most fixturing arrangements encountered in production and prototype work.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard tooling option for CNC machining centers, CNC routers, and manual milling machines equipped with 1/8-inch collets or end mill holders.
Installation is performed by qualified CNC machinists or toolroom personnel. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before seating or removing the tool from its holder. Verify collet condition and cleanliness before clamping to prevent runout. Follow the machine tool manufacturer and applicable shop safety guidelines when setting speeds, feeds, and depth of cut for the workpiece material.
