The ACCUPRO 14797224 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining environments. It features a 0.0600 inch mill diameter, a 3/32 inch (0.0900 inch) length of cut, and a 1/8 inch shank diameter with an overall length of 2.5 inches. The three-flute, spiral design with a 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. An AlTiN finish enhances heat resistance and extends tool life in ferrous and high-temperature alloy applications. This tool is installed and operated by machinists and CNC tooling specialists working with milling machines and machining centers.
This end mill is suited for finish and detail milling on small-feature parts where tight tolerances are required. The centercutting capability allows plunge entry, making it effective for slot milling, profiling, and pocket operations. The extended reach configuration, with a 0.5000 inch reach length, provides access to deeper features without excessive tool deflection. It is appropriate for use on ferrous metals, hardened materials, and high-temperature alloys in both job shop and production environments. Right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction are standard for conventional CNC milling setups.
Designed as an OEM-style solid carbide square end mill for use in standard 1/8 inch collet or end mill holders on CNC milling machines and manual mills requiring a miniature-diameter tool.
This tool is installed by machinists into a compatible 1/8 inch collet, end mill holder, or hydraulic chuck on a milling machine or machining center. Ensure the machine spindle and toolholder are clean and free of debris before seating the shank. Power down and lock out the spindle before changing tooling. Do not exceed the rated length of cut or reach specifications, as doing so increases deflection risk and can result in tool breakage on small-diameter carbide end mills.
