The ACCUPRO 14797210 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in metalworking and machining applications. With a 0.05 inch cutting diameter and a 0.075 inch length of cut, this tool is built for small-feature work where dimensional accuracy is critical. The AlTiN (Aluminum Titanium Nitride) coating improves heat resistance and extends tool life in ferrous and hardened material applications. The micrograin carbide substrate provides rigidity and wear resistance at this miniature diameter. A 30-degree helix angle promotes smooth chip evacuation. This end mill is installed and used by machinists and CNC operators in job shops, tool rooms, and production environments.
This end mill suits small-bore slotting, profiling, and pocketing operations where tight tolerances are required. The 0.125 inch shank diameter fits standard collets commonly used in CNC machining centers and manual milling machines. The extended reach design, with a 0.4 inch reach length and 2.5 inch overall length, gives clearance for deeper workpiece features without sacrificing rigidity at this tool diameter. It is appropriate for use in aluminum, stainless steel, hardened steels, and other materials where AlTiN coatings perform well. Single-end configuration means the tool is replaced rather than flipped when the cutting end is worn.
Designed for use in CNC machining centers and manual milling machines accepting a 0.125 inch collet or end mill holder. Suitable for slotting, profiling, and pocketing operations within a length of cut range of 0.0000 to 0.1000 inches.
A licensed machinist or CNC operator should install this tool using a properly sized collet or end mill holder rated for 0.125 inch shanks. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before changing tooling. Check runout after installation, as even small runout values have a significant impact on tool life and surface finish at this diameter. Follow the machine manufacturer and tooling supplier guidelines for speeds, feeds, and depth of cut appropriate to the workpiece material.
