The ACCUPRO 14797202 is a single-end square end mill ground from solid micrograin carbide and designed for precision milling in tight tolerances. It carries a 3/64-inch (0.0469 inch) cutting diameter with a 0.07-inch length of cut and a 30-degree right-hand helix. The three-flute geometry balances chip evacuation with cutting rigidity, making this tool well suited for profiling, slotting, and peripheral milling in small-feature applications. The bright/uncoated finish is standard for general-purpose carbide tooling. Extended reach geometry with a 0.57-inch reach length allows access to restricted workspaces without sacrificing rigidity. Licensed machinists and CNC programmers specify this size for fine detail work in ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
This end mill is used in CNC machining centers, manual mills, and precision tool-and-die operations where small-diameter cutting tools are required. The 1/8-inch shank diameter fits standard collets and toolholders common in both production and job-shop environments. At 2.5 inches overall length, it provides sufficient reach for most small-part milling setups. The centercutting design allows plunge entry, adding versatility for pocketing operations. This tool is suited to both light roughing and finish passes at the micro scale.
Designed for use in standard 1/8-inch collets and toolholders on CNC machining centers and manual milling machines requiring a fractional-inch, small-diameter square end mill.
This tool is installed and operated by machinists and CNC technicians. Always power down and lock out the spindle before changing tooling. Seat the 1/8-inch shank fully and evenly in the collet before torquing the toolholder to the machine manufacturer's specification. Inspect the cutting edges for chipping before each use, particularly given the small diameter, which is susceptible to breakage under side load or excessive feed rate.
