The ACCUPRO 14797177 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precise milling operations in metalworking and machining applications. With a 0.035 inch cutting diameter and a 0.052 inch length of cut, this tool is built for fine detail work and tight-tolerance slotting, profiling, and contouring. The micrograin carbide construction provides the hardness and wear resistance needed for demanding cuts. Three right-hand spiral flutes at a 30-degree helix angle promote efficient chip evacuation while maintaining a clean cut. The bright, uncoated finish suits general-purpose use across a range of workpiece materials. This end mill is suited for light milling, engraving, and detail work on ferrous and non-ferrous metals, plastics, and composites. Confirm runout with a dial indicator before cutting, as even minor runout is critical at this diameter. Power down the spindle completely before changing or adjusting tooling. Avoid side loads that exceed the tool's design parameters, as small-diameter carbide end mills are susceptible to breakage under excessive lateral force.
