The ACCUPRO 14797138 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling of tight-geometry features in metalworking and machining applications. With a 0.015-inch cutting diameter and a 0.075-inch length of cut, this tool is built for micro-milling work where dimensional accuracy is critical. The micrograin carbide substrate supports edge sharpness and rigidity at small diameters. A 30-degree helix angle and three-flute geometry promote efficient chip evacuation while maintaining a stable cut. The bright, uncoated finish suits a wide range of workpiece materials where coating interaction is a concern. This end mill is installed and operated by machinists and CNC tooling professionals.
This end mill is suited for precision machining of small features, slots, and pockets in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The 0.015-inch diameter makes it appropriate for micro-detail work in mold making, tooling, and fine-feature part production. The 0.125-inch shank diameter fits standard collet toolholders commonly found on CNC machining centers and manual mills. Extended reach geometry, with a 0.15-inch reach length and 2.5-inch overall length, allows access to deeper setups without tool interference.
Designed to fit standard 0.125-inch (1/8 inches) collet toolholders on CNC machining centers and manual milling machines. Suitable for micro-milling applications where a 0.015-inch diameter square end mill is specified.
This tool is installed by machinists and CNC tooling technicians. Power down or e-stop the spindle and confirm zero RPM before changing tooling. Use a properly sized, clean collet and toolholder to achieve the shank diameter tolerance of -0.0001 / -0.0003 inches. At micro-diameter sizes, runout control is critical — inspect collet condition and verify runout with a dial indicator before cutting. Follow shop-standard feeds, speeds, and depth-of-cut parameters appropriate for a 0.015-inch carbide end mill to avoid tool breakage.
