The ACCUPRO 14797129 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining environments. With a 3 mm (0.1181 inches) mill diameter and a 0.345-inch length of cut, this single-end tool handles slotting, profiling, and peripheral milling in tight-tolerance applications. The micrograin carbide substrate provides hardness and wear resistance suited to cutting ferrous and non-ferrous materials. A 30-degree helix angle promotes smooth chip evacuation and reduces cutting forces. The bright/uncoated finish keeps the tool at its ground dimensions without altering edge geometry. This end mill is installed and run by machinists and CNC operators in job shops and production environments.
This end mill is suited for light to medium milling operations on machining centers, CNC mills, and manual mills where a small-diameter, short-cut-length tool is required. The 1/8-inch shank diameter fits standard collets and end mill holders common in bench-top and full-size vertical milling setups. Its centercutting capability allows plunge entry, giving operators flexibility in tool path programming. Right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction make it compatible with conventional spindle rotation on standard CNC and manual equipment.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard-use solid carbide square end mill for CNC machining centers and manual mills accepting a 1/8-inch shank collet or end mill holder.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe, locked-out state before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully and evenly in the collet or holder to the manufacturer-specified engagement depth and torque the collet nut according to the holder manufacturer guidelines. Inspect the cutting edges for chips or damage before each use, and verify runout with a dial indicator when tight tolerances are required.
