The ACCUPRO 14797083 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling of small-feature geometry in metalworking and machining applications. With a 0.01-inch cutting diameter and a 0.03125-inch (1/32 inch) length of cut, this tool is built for micro-milling work where dimensional accuracy is critical. The micrograin carbide substrate provides the hardness and wear resistance needed to hold tight tolerances at small diameters. A 30-degree helix angle and two right-hand spiral flutes promote efficient chip evacuation, and the bright/uncoated finish maintains a sharp cutting edge straight from the package. Professional machinists and tool-and-die technicians reach for this tool when running tight-tolerance detail work on CNC machining centers.
This end mill suits applications in precision mold making, die work, engraving, and small-feature slot milling where a standard-size tool cannot reach. The extended-reach geometry, with a 0.10-inch reach length, allows access to recessed pockets and confined areas without interference from the shank. The 0.125-inch shank diameter fits standard collet toolholding systems commonly found on CNC vertical machining centers and high-speed spindle setups. Centercutting capability allows plunge entry directly into the workpiece when the operation calls for it.
Designed for use in standard collet toolholding systems accepting a 0.125-inch shank diameter, typical of CNC vertical machining centers and high-speed micro-milling spindles. Part of the ACCUPRO ASQSC2-CCER-30H series.
Installation and tool changes must be performed with the machine spindle fully stopped and the machine in a locked-out state per applicable shop safety procedures. Seat the 0.125-inch shank fully in the collet and torque the collet nut to the toolholder manufacturer specification before running. Inspect the cutting diameter and edge condition before each use, as micro-diameter carbide tools are sensitive to chipping from improper handling or excessive runout. Confirm collet bore condition and runout on the spindle before mounting to protect tool life at this diameter.
