The ACCUPRO 14797059 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in metalworking and machining applications. It features a 0.06-inch cutting diameter with a 3/32-inch (0.09 inch) length of cut, a 1/8-inch shank diameter, and a 1-1/2-inch overall length. The four-flute, single-end geometry paired with a 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. An AlTiN coating provides elevated heat resistance and extended tool life when cutting ferrous metals, stainless steels, and high-temperature alloys. This tool is used by machinists and toolmakers working on CNC mills and manual mills requiring tight-tolerance, small-diameter slot and profile cuts.
This end mill suits small-feature milling tasks in job shops, production machining environments, and tool-and-die operations. It is well suited for slotting, profiling, and pocketing operations on ferrous metals, hardened steels, and similar materials where AlTiN coating performance is required. The right-hand cutting direction and right-hand spiral fluting are standard for conventional CNC and manual milling setups. The center-cutting capability allows for direct plunge entry into workpieces where the operation calls for it.
Designed for use in standard 1/8-inch collets and toolholders on CNC machining centers and manual milling machines. Part of the ASQSC4-AT-CC-30H series of AlTiN-coated solid carbide square end mills.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the machine is powered off before changing tooling. Seat the 1/8-inch shank fully into the collet or toolholder and tighten to the toolholder specification. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning a cut, especially given the small 0.06-inch cutting diameter where runout has a proportionally large effect on tool life and part accuracy.
