The ACCUPRO 14797033 is a single-end square end mill designed for precision milling of metals and hard materials. Built from micrograin solid carbide and finished with an AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride) coating, this tool handles demanding cutting applications where heat resistance and edge retention are critical. The 7/64 inch (0.110 inch decimal) diameter and 0.165 inch length of cut make it suited for narrow slots, profiling, and detail work in tight geometries. The 30-degree helix angle promotes smooth chip evacuation and reduces cutting forces. Centercutting capability allows plunge entry without a pre-drilled pilot hole. This end mill is installed and used by machinists and tool-and-die professionals in CNC machining centers and manual mills.
This end mill fits applications requiring small-diameter, high-precision cuts in ferrous metals, stainless steel, titanium, and similar hard materials. The AlTiN coating extends tool life in dry or minimal-lubrication cutting environments by reducing heat transfer into the carbide substrate. The 1/8 inch shank fits standard collet chucks and tool holders commonly found in CNC mills and VMCs. It is well suited to mold work, aerospace component machining, and any application where a compact cutting diameter with a rigid shank is required.
Designed for use with standard 1/8 inch collet chucks and toolholders in CNC machining centers and manual milling machines. Part of the ACCUPRO ASQSC2-AT-CC-30H series.
Installation is performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician. Ensure the spindle is fully powered down and the machine is in a safe state before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully into the collet or toolholder and torque the retention mechanism per the toolholder manufacturer specifications. Verify runout with a dial indicator after installation before beginning a cut, as excessive runout will accelerate wear on a small-diameter carbide tool.
