The ACCUPRO 14796933 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining applications. It features a 0.1 inch cutting diameter with a 19/64 inch (0.3 inch) length of cut and a 1.5 inch overall length. The 1/8 inch shank diameter fits standard collets and tool holders used on CNC mills and manual milling machines. A 30-degree helix angle and micrograin carbide construction support consistent chip evacuation and edge retention in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The AlTiN coating adds heat resistance, making this end mill well-suited for dry or semi-dry cutting conditions at elevated speeds.
This end mill is sized for small-feature milling work where a tight diameter and short reach are required. The 0.1 inch diameter and regular-length profile make it appropriate for slot milling, profiling, and pocketing in precision parts such as molds, dies, fixtures, and small mechanical components. It is a single-end, right-hand cut, right-hand flute tool. The two-flute geometry provides chip clearance in softer materials and confined cuts. Machinists, tool and die makers, and CNC operators working on close-tolerance parts will find this a practical selection for small-bore or tight-corner work.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use solid carbide square end mill for CNC machining centers and manual mills accepting a 1/8 inch shank diameter collet or tool holder.
Installation is performed by a machinist or CNC operator using a collet chuck or end mill holder matched to the 1/8 inch shank. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the tool holder is clean and free of debris before seating the shank. Verify runout after installation, as small-diameter end mills are sensitive to tool holder concentricity. Follow shop speed and feed guidelines for the specific workpiece material and coating type before beginning the cut.
