The ACCUPRO 14796908 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in metalworking and machining applications. With a 0.037-inch cutting diameter and a 0.111-inch length of cut, this tool is built for small-feature work where tight tolerances and edge integrity are critical. The micrograin carbide construction provides the hardness and wear resistance needed for consistent performance in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. It runs single-end with a right-hand cutting and flute direction, a 30-degree helix angle, and spiral flutes that promote chip evacuation in confined cuts. Machinists and CNC programmers working on detailed part features will find the geometry well-suited to finish milling and slot work at small scales.
This end mill is intended for use in CNC machining centers, CNC mills, and manual knee mills where small-diameter tooling is required. Its 0.125-inch shank diameter fits standard collets and tool holders commonly found in production and job shop environments. The bright uncoated finish makes it appropriate for a range of materials where a coated tool is not required or where re-sharpening is anticipated. Centercutting capability allows it to plunge directly into the workpiece when needed.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or standard tooling option for CNC machining centers and milling machines accepting a 0.125-inch shank diameter collet or tool holder. Part of the ACCUPRO ASQSC2-CC-30H series.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator with the spindle fully stopped and machine in an e-stop or locked-out state. Seat the shank fully into the collet and torque the collet nut per the tool holder manufacturer specification. Verify runout with a dial indicator before cutting, as small-diameter end mills are sensitive to even minor misalignment. Follow shop safety protocols and applicable OSHA machining guidelines during setup and operation.
