The ACCUPRO 14796341 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling in tight-tolerance machining applications. It features a 0.1562-inch diameter with a 0.03-inch corner radius and a 4-flute spiral configuration, producing smooth finishes and consistent dimensional accuracy on hardened and abrasive materials. The AlTiN coating provides high heat resistance and extended tool life under demanding cutting conditions. At 2 inches overall length with a 0.875-inch length of cut, this single-end, centercutting tool is built for miniature-series work where rigidity and geometry precision are critical. It is installed and operated by machinists and CNC tooling professionals.
This end mill is suited for milling operations on hardened steels, stainless alloys, cast iron, and other ferrous materials where a corner radius profile is required to reduce stress concentration or produce a blended shoulder. The miniature series designation makes it appropriate for small-feature work, fine detail contouring, and applications where standard-size tooling cannot reach. Right-hand cutting direction and right-hand flute spiral are standard for conventional CNC milling setups. Single-end configuration allows direct chuck or collet holding without concern for opposite-end engagement.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-fit tooling option for CNC machining centers and manual mills accepting a 3/16-inch shank diameter collet or end mill holder.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC tooling technician. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe, locked-out state before changing tooling. Seat the 3/16-inch shank fully into a matching collet or end mill holder and torque the retention hardware per the machine manufacturer's specifications. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning a cut to confirm concentricity and prevent premature tool wear.
