The ACCUPRO 14796316 is a miniature solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling operations in tight tolerances and small-feature work. It carries a 0.0781-inch diameter with a 0.01-inch corner radius, producing smooth, chip-resistant edges on finished surfaces. The four-flute, right-hand spiral geometry with a 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and stable cutting at high feed rates. An AlTiN coating adds thermal and wear resistance, extending tool life in hard and abrasive materials. Licensed machinists and CNC operators install this tool for detailed profiling, slotting, and contouring work where dimensional accuracy is critical.
This end mill fits residential shop, production floor, and tool-and-die applications requiring fine-detail machining. The miniature series designation makes it well suited for micro-milling, mold work, and small-component profiling where a standard-size end mill cannot access tight geometry. The 1/8-inch shank diameter fits standard collets and end mill holders common to CNC machining centers and manual mills equipped for small-diameter tooling. Centercutting capability allows plunge entry directly into the workpiece without a pre-drilled hole.
Designed as an OEM-style miniature corner radius end mill for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills accepting a 1/8-inch shank diameter with standard collet or end mill holder systems.
Installation and tool changes should be performed with the machine spindle fully stopped and the control in a safe, locked-out state per shop lockout/tagout procedures. Seat the 1/8-inch shank fully in the collet and torque the collet nut to the machine manufacturer specification before operation. At small diameters, runout tolerance is critical — verify tool runout with a dial indicator after installation to avoid premature breakage. Consult your feeds-and-speeds reference for AlTiN-coated carbide at this diameter before running the first pass.
