The ACCUPRO 14796312 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling in tight tolerances and miniature-scale applications. With a 0.0781 inch cutting diameter, a 0.01 inch corner radius, and four spiral flutes, this single-end mill delivers clean, accurate cuts in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The micrograin carbide construction provides the rigidity and edge retention needed for high-speed milling passes in hardened and abrasive workpiece materials. The bright/uncoated finish makes it well-suited for aluminum, copper, brass, and other non-ferrous materials where coating adhesion or built-up edge can be a concern. Machinists and tool and die professionals install this tool in CNC machining centers and manual mills requiring fine-feature work.
This end mill is built for miniature and small-part machining where dimensional accuracy is critical. The 0.117 inch length of cut and 1.5 inch overall length make it appropriate for shallow pocketing, profiling, and contouring in confined part geometries. The 1/8 inch shank diameter fits standard collet and end mill holder tooling commonly found in CNC machining centers and benchtop mills used in mold making, medical device manufacturing, prototype work, and precision component production.
Designed as an OEM-style miniature series corner radius end mill for use in standard 1/8 inch collet holders and end mill holders on CNC machining centers and manual milling machines requiring small-diameter tooling.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following proper toolholding procedures. Ensure the spindle is fully powered down and locked before inserting or removing the tool from the collet or end mill holder. Verify collet size matches the 1/8 inch shank diameter and that the tool is seated to the correct gauge length before tightening. Do not exceed the tool manufacturer's recommended feeds and speeds for the workpiece material and depth of cut being used.
