The ACCUPRO 14796307 is a miniature corner radius end mill designed for precision milling operations in tight tolerances and small-feature work. Manufactured from micrograin solid carbide and coated with AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride), it delivers strong wear resistance and thermal stability during high-speed cutting. The tool measures 0.0625 inches in diameter with a 0.005-inch corner radius, a 1.0236-inch length of cut, and a 1.5-inch overall length. The 0.125-inch shank diameter suits standard miniature collet setups. With 4 flutes in a right-hand spiral configuration and a 30-degree helix, it produces efficient chip evacuation on small, detailed cuts. A centercutting design enables plunge entry. Machinists and toolroom operators use this end mill for intricate contouring, slotting, and profiling in hardened steels, stainless, and high-temp alloys.
This end mill fits CNC machining centers and manual mills equipped with appropriately sized collets or chucks accepting a 0.125-inch shank. The miniature series designation reflects its sub-0.125-inch cutting diameter, making it suited for micro-feature milling, die and mold detail work, medical component machining, and aerospace precision parts. Single-end configuration means the cutting geometry is on one end only, and the tool should be retired or replaced rather than re-ground on the opposing end. Right-hand cutting direction is compatible with standard spindle rotation on the vast majority of CNC and manual milling platforms.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use miniature end mill compatible with CNC machining centers and manual mills accepting a 0.125-inch shank diameter collet or tool holder.
Installation and tool changes must be performed with the spindle fully stopped and machine power isolated per shop lockout/tagout procedures. Use a properly sized, clean ER or precision collet that matches the 0.125-inch shank diameter to ensure runout is minimized; excessive runout on miniature tooling accelerates breakage. Torque the collet nut to the collet manufacturer's specification using an appropriate wrench — do not use pipe extensions or impact tools. Verify tool projection and reach before running the first cut, and confirm cutter compensation values are updated in the CNC program before spindle engagement.
