The ACCUPRO 14796263 is a miniature single-end corner radius end mill designed for precision milling in tight tolerances and small-feature applications. Built from solid carbide micrograin stock and coated with AlTiN for heat resistance and tool life, this cutter handles hardened steels, stainless, and high-temp alloys where standard tooling falls short. The 1/8 inch diameter with a 0.0100 inch corner radius and 3-flute geometry delivers clean side walls and floor blends. A 30-degree helix and centercutting capability allow plunge, slot, and contour operations from a single tool. Overall length is 2.5 inches with a 1/8 inch shank diameter, making it compatible with standard collet chucks and tool holders in that bore size.
This end mill is suited for CNC machining centers and high-speed spindles performing detailed work in die and mold, medical component, and aerospace part applications. The extended reach configuration provides a 0.625 inch reach length, allowing access to recessed features and pockets without interference. The right-hand cut and right-hand flute spiral are standard for conventional and climb milling on CNC equipment. Machinists and tool-and-die professionals running miniature or fine-detail programs will find this tool appropriate for both roughing passes at conservative chip loads and finish passes requiring tight dimensional control.
Designed as an OEM-style miniature end mill for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills equipped with collet systems accepting a 1/8 inch shank diameter.
Installation is performed by a machinist or CNC setup technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before inserting or removing the tool from the collet. Seat the shank fully into the collet to the recommended grip length and torque the collet nut per the tool holder manufacturer specification. Inspect the cutting edges for chips or coating damage before each use, as carbide end mills in miniature diameters are susceptible to breakage under excessive runout or improper clamping.
