The ACCUPRO 14796260 is a miniature corner radius end mill designed for precision milling operations in tight tolerances and small-feature applications. Built from micrograin solid carbide and coated with AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride), this tool delivers extended wear resistance and thermal stability during high-speed cutting. It features a 1/8 inch mill diameter, a 0.010 inch corner radius, and 3 right-hand spiral flutes with a 30-degree helix angle. The centercutting design allows plunge entry, and the extended reach geometry supports access to recessed or deep pocket features. Machinists and tooling technicians working in precision shops, mold making, and aerospace component machining rely on this class of tool for finishing and semi-finishing passes.
This end mill is suited for milling aluminum, titanium alloys, hardened steels, and other difficult-to-machine materials where the AlTiN coating provides a thermal barrier. The miniature series sizing makes it appropriate for small-part machining on CNC machining centers, high-speed spindles, and precision VMCs. The single-end configuration and 1/8 inch shank diameter are standard for collet-style toolholding systems commonly used in 4-axis and 5-axis setups. Extended reach of 1.000 inch allows access to features that standard-length tools cannot reach.
Designed as an OEM-style miniature end mill compatible with standard 1/8 inch collet toolholders used on CNC machining centers and high-speed milling spindles.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or tooling technician. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in an e-stop or lockout-tagout state before changing tooling. Seat the 1/8 inch shank fully into a clean, undamaged collet and torque the collet nut per the toolholder manufacturer specification. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning a cutting program, as excessive runout will accelerate wear on a tool of this diameter.
