The ACCUPRO 14796253 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling of tight-tolerance features in hardened and abrasive materials. The cutting diameter measures 0.0938 inches with a 0.0100-inch corner radius, making it well-suited for fine detail work where sharp corner transitions must be avoided. The 3-flute geometry paired with a 30-degree right-hand spiral helix provides efficient chip evacuation while maintaining surface finish quality. An AlTiN coating extends tool life in high-temperature cutting environments. This tool is single-end, center-cutting, and belongs to the Miniature series, intended for use by machinists and CNC operators working in precision manufacturing and toolroom applications.
This end mill is appropriate for milling slots, pockets, and contours in ferrous metals, stainless steel, titanium, and similar hard or abrasive workpiece materials. The extended reach design, with a 0.5000-inch reach length, allows access to features with depth or clearance constraints. The miniature diameter makes it a common choice for mold and die work, medical component machining, and aerospace part production where small-diameter tooling and precise corner geometry are required. It is sold as a single-end tool and is intended for use in CNC machining centers or manual mills with appropriate high-speed spindle capability.
Designed as an OEM-style miniature corner radius end mill compatible with standard 1/8-inch collet or end mill holder systems on CNC machining centers and manual milling machines.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator. Secure the 1/8-inch shank in a properly sized collet or end mill holder, ensuring adequate clamping depth and runout within the tool holder specification. Power down and lock out the spindle before tool changes. Inspect the cutting edges and coating condition before each use, as miniature-diameter carbide tools are brittle and susceptible to chipping if mishandled or subjected to excessive radial load.
