The ACCUPRO 14796252 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling operations where edge strength and fine detail are critical. At 0.0938 inches in diameter with a 0.01 inch corner radius, this miniature-series tool is built for small-feature machining in tight geometries. It runs 3 flutes in a right-hand spiral configuration with a 30-degree helix angle, producing efficient chip evacuation and a clean finish. The centercutting geometry allows direct plunge entry. Overall length is 2.5 inches with a 1/8 inch shank diameter. Machinists and toolroom operators working in CNC milling applications select this tool for small-slot, contour, and radius-blending work in ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
This end mill is suited for miniature and close-tolerance milling applications in job shop, toolroom, and production CNC environments. The extended reach design, with a 0.5 inch reach length, provides clearance for stepped or recessed features without sacrificing rigidity. The micrograin carbide substrate supports higher surface footage and maintains edge integrity in harder workpiece materials. Single-end configuration makes it a direct load-and-run tool for standard ER or collet-style toolholders accepting a 1/8 inch shank. It is appropriate for both roughing and finishing passes at the miniature scale.
Designed for use in CNC milling machines and machining centers with collet or ER-style toolholders accepting a 1/8 inch shank diameter. Fits standard miniature-series tooling setups.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator following standard toolholding procedures. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before loading or removing the end mill. Seat the shank to the full recommended insertion depth in the collet or toolholder to prevent pullout under cutting load. Verify runout at the cutting diameter before beginning a production run, as excessive runout accelerates edge wear on miniature-diameter tools.
