The ACCUPRO 14796232 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill engineered for precision machining in tight-tolerance applications. With a 0.0469-inch mill diameter and a 0.0100-inch corner radius, this tool removes material while reducing stress concentrations at part corners. The three-flute, right-hand spiral design promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. An AlTiN coating increases surface hardness and thermal resistance, extending tool life in ferrous and high-temperature alloy materials. The micrograin carbide substrate supports the fine geometry required for miniature-series work. This tool is installed and operated by machinists and CNC programmers in job shop, aerospace, medical, and precision manufacturing environments.
This end mill suits small-feature milling operations where a miniature-diameter tool is required. The 0.0469-inch diameter and 1.25-inch length of cut make it appropriate for slot milling, profiling, and finishing passes on small components. The extended-reach design, with a 0.3750-inch reach length, allows access to recessed features without interference. A 1/8-inch shank diameter fits standard ER collet chucks and miniature end mill holders common on CNC machining centers and high-speed spindles. Single-end configuration and centercutting geometry allow plunge entry where needed.
Designed for use in CNC machining centers and high-speed spindles equipped with 1/8-inch collet chucks or miniature end mill holders. Suitable for ferrous metals, high-temperature alloys, and other materials compatible with AlTiN-coated tooling.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC tooling technician. Secure the 1/8-inch shank in a clean, properly sized collet or toolholder and torque to the holder manufacturer's specification. Verify runout at the cutting diameter before beginning production cuts. Follow all machine guarding and personal protective equipment requirements applicable to CNC milling operations.
