The ACCUPRO 14796206 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precise milling in tight-tolerance applications. It features a 0.0781-inch cutting diameter with a 0.01-inch corner radius that reduces stress concentration at the cutting edge and helps produce a controlled edge break on finished surfaces. The mill runs as a single-end, center-cutting tool with a right-hand cut and right-hand spiral fluting. With 2 flutes and a micrograin carbide substrate, it is built for high-speed finishing and light material removal in small-part and mold-detail work. Machinists and toolmakers in precision machine shops are the primary users of this tool.
This end mill is sized for miniature-series work, making it well suited for small-feature milling on dies, molds, and precision components. The 0.234-inch length of cut and 1.5-inch overall length keep the tool rigid in shallow pocket and contour operations. The bright, uncoated finish makes it appropriate for non-ferrous metals, plastics, and graphite where coating adhesion or edge sharpness is a concern. The 1/8-inch shank seats in standard collet chucks and tool holders commonly found on CNC machining centers and manual mills.
Designed as an OEM-style miniature end mill for use in standard 1/8-inch collet chucks and tool holders on CNC machining centers, CNC routers, and manual knee mills configured for small-diameter tooling.
Installation of end mills should be performed by a qualified machinist following the machine tool manufacturer's runout and clamping specifications. Always power down the spindle and confirm the tool is fully secured in the collet or chuck before starting the machine. Inspect the cutting edges under magnification before use to confirm no chipping or damage is present. Do not exceed the recommended depth-of-cut or feed rate for the workpiece material and tool diameter.
