The ACCUPRO 14796205 is a miniature corner radius end mill ground from solid micrograin carbide and designed for precision milling in tight-tolerance applications. It measures 0.0625 inches in diameter with a 0.02 inch corner radius and a 0.186 inch length of cut, making it well suited for fine detail work where tool rigidity and edge geometry must be held closely. The two-flute, right-hand spiral configuration promotes chip evacuation in shallow pockets and contour passes. The bright, uncoated finish means the carbide substrate runs without a coating layer, which is appropriate for non-ferrous metals, plastics, and other materials that respond better to bare carbide edges.
This end mill fits into machining operations that require a small-diameter, centercutting tool capable of plunge entry and profile milling in the same pass. The miniature series designation places it in CNC milling programs for watch components, medical device parts, mold details, aerospace fittings, and similar fine-feature work. It is a single-end tool with a 1/8 inch shank diameter and 1.5 inch overall length, suitable for use in standard collet toolholders that accept 1/8 inch shank sizes. The 30-degree helix angle provides a balance of chip flow and cutting edge strength at this diameter range.
Designed as an OEM-style miniature end mill for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills equipped with toolholders that accept a 1/8 inch shank diameter.
Installation is performed by a machinist or CNC setup technician. The machine spindle must be fully stopped and the toolholder must be removed or locked out before inserting or removing the tool. Seat the shank to the full recommended collet depth and torque the collet nut to the toolholder specification. At this diameter, runout and collet cleanliness are critical; even minor contamination in the collet bore can deflect a small-diameter carbide tool and cause premature breakage.
