The ACCUPRO 14788589 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling in demanding metalworking applications. Built with 4 spiral flutes and a 0.1300-inch corner radius, it produces smooth, radiused transitions on workpiece edges while maintaining tight dimensional tolerances. The AlTiN+ coating provides high heat resistance and extended tool life in ferrous and hardened materials. With a 1/2-inch cutting diameter and 1-1/2-inch length of cut, this single-end, centercutting tool handles slotting, profiling, and plunging operations. It is installed and run by machinists and CNC operators in job shops and production environments.
This end mill is suited for CNC machining centers and manual milling machines operating on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and similar hard materials. The centercutting geometry allows direct plunge entry, making it versatile for pocket milling, contouring, and finishing passes where a controlled corner radius is required. The 1-inch shank diameter and 6-inch overall length accommodate setups that require extended reach without sacrificing rigidity.
