The ACCUPRO 14788515 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precise milling operations in metal, composite, and engineering plastic workpieces. With a 0.109-inch (7/64 inch) mill diameter, four helical flutes, and a centercutting geometry, this tool is capable of both peripheral and plunge cutting. The 1/8-inch cylindrical shank and 1.5-inch overall length make it well suited to close-tolerance work in CNC machining centers and manual mills. Solid carbide construction provides rigidity and wear resistance compared to high-speed steel alternatives, supporting tighter tolerances and longer tool life in production environments.
This end mill is intended for use in light to medium material removal applications where a small-diameter tool is required. The 3/16-inch (0.188-inch) length of cut is appropriate for shallow-to-moderate depth passes. Secure the shank fully within the collet or end mill holder to the recommended grip depth before tightening. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning a production cut, particularly given the small diameter of this tool.
