The ACCUPRO 14788411 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metal, composites, and engineering plastics. Built with three helical flutes and a centercutting geometry, it supports both plunge cutting and conventional side milling. The 5/32 inch (0.1560 inch) mill diameter pairs with a 3/8 inch length of cut and a 3/16 inch cylindrical shank, making it well suited to tight-tolerance finishing and profiling passes on CNC machining centers and manual mills. The 38 to 42 degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth surface finish on a range of workpiece materials.
This end mill is used in light-to-medium material removal applications where a small-diameter, high-rigidity tool is required. Typical scenarios include slotting, contouring, and profiling on ferrous and non-ferrous stock. The solid carbide construction provides the stiffness and wear resistance needed for accurate, repeatable cuts in production and job-shop environments. Machinists and CNC operators working on aerospace, automotive, and general precision machining jobs will find it appropriate for fine-detail work where tool deflection must be minimized.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard tooling option for CNC machining centers and manual milling machines accepting a 3/16 inch cylindrical shank end mill.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or CNC operators. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe, locked-out state before changing tooling. Seat the cylindrical shank fully in a clean, properly sized collet or end mill holder and torque the retention hardware per the tool holder manufacturer's specification. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning a cut, and confirm depth-of-cut and feed rate parameters are appropriate for the 5/32 inch diameter before spindle engagement.
