The ACCUPRO 14788363 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision material removal in professional machining applications. With a 3/4-inch mill diameter, 2-1/4-inch length of cut, and a 2-flute helical geometry, this tool delivers efficient chip evacuation and clean edge profiles in a wide range of workpiece materials. The AlTiN+ coating adds thermal resistance and surface hardness, extending tool life in demanding cutting conditions. At 5 inches overall length with a matching 3/4-inch cylindrical shank, it seats securely in standard collet and end mill holders. Centercutting capability allows for plunge milling operations. Installed and operated by machinists and toolroom professionals.
This end mill is suited for milling, slotting, and profiling operations on ferrous and non-ferrous metals, hardened steels, and similar materials where a high-performance coated carbide tool is required. The 38 to 42 degree helix angle promotes smooth cutting action and reduces chatter in both conventional and climb milling passes. Single-end configuration means the tool is replaced rather than reindexed when worn. It is commonly found in CNC machining centers, vertical mills, and manual knee mills running production or prototype work in job shop and manufacturing environments.
Designed as a direct-fit replacement for standard 3/4-inch straight-shank end mill holders, collet chucks, and hydraulic toolholders accepting a 3/4-inch cylindrical shank in CNC and manual milling machines.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following shop safety protocols. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in an e-stop or locked-out state before changing tooling. Seat the shank to the minimum insertion depth recommended for the holder type in use, and verify runout with a dial indicator before cutting. Do not exceed the tool manufacturer's recommended speeds and feeds for the workpiece material and coating type.
