The ACCUPRO 14556367 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling operations where edge durability and surface finish quality are critical. It features a 3/16 inch diameter with a 0.02 inch corner radius and a 5/8 inch length of cut. The four-flute, single-end geometry with a 40-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. An AlTiN+ coating extends tool life in high-heat, abrasive cutting environments. Centercutting capability allows plunge entry. This tool is intended for use by machinists and tool-and-die professionals working with ferrous and non-ferrous materials on CNC milling equipment.
This end mill is suited for finish milling, profiling, and contouring operations on machining centers and CNC mills. The corner radius geometry reduces stress concentrations at the cutting edge and helps produce consistent radii in pocketed features and slots. At 2 inches overall length with a straight cylindrical shank, it fits standard ER and end mill holders accepting a 3/16 inch shank. It belongs to the ACCUPRO Series 6/44, a regular-length line intended for general-purpose precision work. Typical applications include mold and die work, aerospace component machining, and precision part manufacture where tight tolerances are required.
Designed for use in standard end mill holders or collet chucks accepting a 3/16 inch straight cylindrical shank. Fits CNC machining centers and knee mills configured for right-hand cutting tools.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following shop safety protocols. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before changing tooling. Seat the shank to the recommended depth in the holder and torque the retention mechanism per the holder manufacturer specifications. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning production cuts to confirm proper seating.
